Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was clean and comfortable with an excellent breakfast. The thermostat issue affected my first night's sleep, but overall, it was a pleasant stay with good soundproofing and Smart TV for entertainment.
The hotel is conveniently located for exploring Glasgow's music venues, shops, and the city center, with easy access to the motorway. While the Smart TV in the room allowed us to stream YouTube, the overall appearance of the building felt tired. The bed was comfortable, and the room was very clean, creating a cozy stay, despite the somewhat unattractive surroundings.
The hotel is conveniently located not far from the city center, although it was a bit off-putting due to a strange smell in the room which made my stay uncomfortable. The service was overall fantastic despite some issues with getting orders right. The location is accessible for traveling by taxi elsewhere in the city, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby in the Merchant City area. The dining experience was hit or miss, sometimes slow at topping up the breakfast buffet. However, the available parking, though for an extra charge, suited our needs well.
I had a pleasant stay overall at the hotel. The disability rooms were spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed. The Smart TV was a nice touch for entertainment, although the heating could not be adjusted easily. The service was a mix of welcoming and efficient, but there were instances of feeling brushed aside. The location was convenient, especially for those attending events at the O2 Academy, but the neighborhood lacked charm. Dining was inconsistent, with slow breakfast buffet service on some occasions. The facilities were decent, though there were minor issues experienced during the stay.
The hotel offers comfortable and well-sized rooms, with the convenience of a Smart TV for entertainment. However, initial thermostat issues affected our first night's sleep. Service was efficient and cheerful, despite feeling rushed at times. The location is excellent for exploring the vibrant Merchant City area, while being a short walk from the city center and various dining options. The dining experience can vary, but the presence of a Costa coffee outlet adds convenience. The facilities overall meet expectations, with room for improvement.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel with clean and comfortable rooms and helpful friendly staff. However, there was a minor issue with the room temperature on the first night. The location was convenient for my visit to the O2 Academy, but the neighborhood lacked charm. The dining experience was satisfactory, offering enough choice and a hearty breakfast. Overall, a good value for the price.
The hotel is in a very convenient location, close to the city center and ideal for various activities. The rooms were spacious, clean, and the breakfast was excellent, providing a great start to the day. However, the room temperature was uncomfortably cold during the stay.
The hotel is in an industrial area across from a Mosque, which might not be visually appealing for some, but it's perfect for those attending events at O2 Academy nearby. The rooms, though having an off-putting smell, were surprisingly clean and neatly arranged on the 3rd floor. The service, despite some issues with the buzzer, was efficient and cheerful. The location is excellent for accessing Merchant City and the city center on foot, but it might not suit everyone's taste due to the surroundings. The dining experience can be hit or miss, with slow service in topping up the breakfast buffet recently. On the bright side, the hotel offers everything needed and is conveniently close to popular attractions like Hampden Stadium. Overall, a good deal if you value convenience and cleanliness despite some minor drawbacks.
The hotel had good size and spotless rooms, which seemed a tad bit bigger. Although the room was absolutely freezing cold, which left me and my mum not well, they were comfortable and well-sized. The service was friendly and helpful when our flight was canceled, but it seemed to lack dedication and training during our stay. The location was excellent for the Merchant City area of the town, but it is in a semi-industrial unattractive area across from a Mosque. The dining experience can be hit or miss, with good breakfast options previously but sometimes slow at topping up the breakfast buffet. Facilities were adequate.
The hotel was average priced but definitely not worth the money I had paid for. The rooms were cold, and I couldn't turn the heating up from the original booking of 6 rooms I had requested from a previous visit. The service was a bit anxious, especially with the wait to be seated, and it was not overcrowded for breakfast or dinner. However, I was outside my room and had to ignore the buzzer. The location was very friendly, with a 5-minute walk into the city center and accessible for taxi travel elsewhere in the city. There was about a 10-minute walk outside the city center, around shops and lots of bars and restaurants at Merchant City, located near the O2 Academy for a gig. The dining experience is mediocre; you can reach the city center and restaurants, but forget about breakfast, even though they serve an excellent breakfast at £269. Hot dogs are also an option.
